Process

How a transaction moves through AltroMet.

Seven steps. Each one documented. Each one declinable if the transaction does not pass our thresholds.

01

Step 01

Requirement or Supply Submission

An inquiry begins with a clear submission. Buyers indicate material, specification, quantity, destination, timeline, and inspection preference. Sellers indicate material, specification, quantity, origin, warehouse location, and document availability. AltroMet does not progress vague or fragmentary submissions.

02

Step 02

Counterparty Qualification

KYB documentation, identity verification, intended use, target quantity, destination, payment capability and instrument preference, and sanctions screening. We assess counterparty position in the chain — direct seller, mandated representative, or end buyer — and decline to progress where this cannot be evidenced.

03

Step 03

Document & Specification Review

Product specification, assay report (with confirmed sample origin and lot linkage), SGS or equivalent inspection report, stock photographs and videos, certificate of origin, warehouse confirmation and release authority, seller authorization or mandate where applicable, and draft commercial terms. Document inconsistencies are surfaced and resolved before commercial alignment.

04

Step 04

Commercial Alignment

LOI or ICPO from the buyer side; pricing structured as a fixed price with a defined validity window or a formula referenced to a recognized index. Allocation, partial-shipment provisions, and acceptance criteria are agreed before contracting. Pricing is never represented as guaranteed in volatile materials.

05

Step 05

Independent Inspection

Inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or a buyer-appointed equivalent. Scope typically includes quantity, packaging, lot numbers, assay (with umpire arrangement where required), warehouse presence, and chain of custody. Inspection precedes payment as a default posture, particularly for first-time counterparty pairings.

06

Step 06

Contracting & Payment Structure

Sales and Purchase Agreement executed by the principals. Payment instruments selected against counterparty profile and warehouse control: documentary letter of credit, standby letter of credit, escrow, documentary collection, partial deposit with balance against documents, or other structures appropriate to the transaction. AltroMet does not participate in payment flows.

07

Step 07

Logistics, Release & Delivery

Warehouse release coordinated against the agreed payment trigger. Inland transport, export clearance, freight forwarding, marine insurance, bill of lading, and customs documentation. Title transfer per Incoterm and SPA. Post-shipment documentation reconciled against contractual obligations.

We do not progress undocumented offers. We do not hide procedure. We do not promise price certainty in volatile materials. We protect both sides through structured execution.
