We collect the information you provide directly through our buyer and supplier inquiry forms — company name, jurisdiction, contact name, email address, and the commercial details of your requirement or offer.

We also collect information exchanged in the course of counterparty qualification, including corporate registration documents, ownership information, and trade references.

Information is processed to evaluate and respond to commercial inquiries, to conduct KYC, KYB, and sanctions screening, to structure and execute transactions, and to meet record-keeping obligations under applicable trade and financial regulations.

We do not sell or rent personal data. Information may be disclosed to inspection agencies, banks, logistics providers, legal advisers, and competent authorities strictly where required to progress or evidence a transaction.

Sensitive commercial details are disclosed to a counterparty only after qualification and, where relevant, under confidentiality terms.

Inquiry and counterparty records are retained for the period required to satisfy compliance, audit, and contractual obligations, and are then deleted or anonymised.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Requests should be sent to inquiries@altromet.com and will be answered within a reasonable period.
